- SUPERSONIC EYEWAY -
an installation in collaboration with Dominic Ewan and Safron Mackney, as a part of INTERWORLD - ISOLATE/ INCUBATE Foodhall, Sheffield.
A synaesthetic neutral network of sensors and adaptors feeding off of each other emulating the buzz of a modern city and its masses of auditory and visual processing forced through the mind.
'SUPERSONIC EYEWAY' is a collaboration between dark new media artist and scientist Saffron Mackey; kinetic sculptor Sorcha Noble, who has been focussing on living aural landscapes, and Dominic Ewan, archaic tech fetishist, and system designer.
They met at Site gallery's 'Society of Explorers' in Sheffield five years ago and have been honing their crafts ever since. This installation expresses and was produced by the long-distance, instant messaging and busy nature of the artist's lives and collaboration.
